I still have not mastered more than correcting the exposure of a photo, but I like to play and sometimes that gets me a cool picture in the end. I'm not sure if Photoshop Elements uses action sets, but if it does give them a try. It gives you some pre-packaged effects to turn to before you figure out the rest of photoshop on your own.
