I have another suggestion too - and it's helped me approach this NaBloPoMo challenge with a little more excitement. During a little quiet time today, I brainstormed all the things I've wanted to learn but hadn't found time to do - and then committed to doing as many of them as I could in the month. Granted, these weren't big things like getting a PhD, but they were things I knew I could accomplish within the confines of a normal day. For example, I had bought some pumpkins and knew I wanted to make a soup in a pumpkin meal - why not dress it up a little bit, take some photos, and make that my post? That way I accomplished 3 things - I made dinner, I made something from my list, and I got a post out of it too.
Sounds simplistic, but it's all a one-day-at-a-time thing. 8 days in, I feel like I have so much to do, but I'm so excited by the prospects.
You're going to do great! You'll get over this hump and by day 25, you'll find you have a dozen more things you want to do!

Totally agree with Brit. (I posted a while back about "'Have to' is heavy. 'Want to' is light".) If I may offer some unsolicited advice it's this: just post when you're bursting to share. It's those posts full of passion that will keep us coming back for more. So do if your yourself, not for us--It actually benefits us all. Oh, and just a gentle reminder that many of us have RSS readers and will see your posts as they are published, whenever that may be. <3

Yeah, blogging can get heavy if it’s something you feel you “have” to do.
