Dan and I went for a hike this morning near Castle Rock. It was a nice tree-covered hike with lightly rolling hills. I think we were out for almost three hours. It was a great way to start the day.
Halfway through the hike, we stopped to enjoy the view and a bite of lunch.
Salami, swiss cheese and hunks of sourdough baguette. The perfect hiking lunch.
Just a quick post today, hopefully I’ll have more tomorrow… maybe even a recipe. Tomorrow, I’m making a pasta salad for a picnic and a cake for a family reunion.

Thanks SaraKate! It was a great Saturday. I came home from the hike and took a long nap so I got my exercise and got to be lazy too.
