Hi there! Welcome to my 100th post! [Cue the confetti]. It doesn’t seem like I’ve written that many posts, but then looking back through the archive we’ve come a long way in just 100 posts. And I’ve learned a lot. A lot.
I’ve learned that:
* I should not be allowed to steam artichokes without adult supervision because I end up with a burnt mess.
* Cupcakes rule.
* You all love breakfast as much as I do. Everything from doughnuts to pancakes to french toast.
* The way to a man’s heart really is through his stomach. Especially when chocolate is involved.
Those are only a few of the things I’ve learned but I don’t want to bore you with the laundry list of random bits. Seriously, it’s a long list. All sorts of behind the scenes blog stuff like web hosting, WordPress, css, Photoshop, where to get the best light in my apartment for photos, and loads of other things like that…
But now without further ado, my first ever giveaway. What’s up for grabs:
That’s a large Oxo cookie scoop and Wilton 12-piece cupcake decorating set. These things really upped my cupcake making mojo, so thought they’d be perfect to share with you.
I use the scoop for everything: it’s the perfect size to fill my cupcake pan, makes (large but uniform) cookies, scooping ice cream, etc. I have a few of these scoops in different sizes because they are so handy. I love them.
And the Wilton kit is great for making:
and all sorts of decorating.
How can you win it? Well, I wanted something clever… you know to ask you a question and have you answer it and pick from the answers. Congrats on reaching 100 :) I sailed past that milestone without really noticing; the rate I seem to write I’ll need to celebrate 1000 before I stop feeling like a newbie blogger! I really must do a contest, though, I haven’t tried that yet.

I just came across your blog when searching for a dessert recipe to make this weekend. I love baking and I do it every weekend to motivate myself to study in medical school. Sometimes I think that I should just quit med school and start a patisserie.

I read it often and always end up drooling over the pictures. I love to cook and I love to read, so reading cooking blogs brings me great joy.
