I've been thinking of trying to make my own but haven't yet. Do you have a World Market near you? They usually have a couple of brands of lemon curd. Thanks for the encouragement and see you Friday :)

Maria: Yogurt is good. I don't always think of it when I want a snack but I have been adding it to my breakfast lately. Do you have a favorite flavor/add in?

Joie de vivre: Strawberry preserves sounds delicious. The lemon curd is store bought. I'm excited that you have been reading along with me. Just this week I have started back on the yogurt every day. I find it also amazing how it fills up my tummy. And yes, the add ins are wonderful. Yesterday, I added 1 Tbls. of homemade strawberry preserves to my lunch yogurt and it was so good. Did you make your lemon curd? I've never seen it for sale anywhere but I do have a recipe for it. Since we don't live in lemon country though I've never tried it. I'm looking forward to "seeing" you this Friday, and good luck with the rest of the week! Remember, slow steps and focus on the good changes you are making.

Thank you so much for the link and for adding me to your blogroll! The store bought stuff I grew up with was too sweet and had weird fruity flavors (well, the proclaimed flavors sound normal enough but the blueberry and strawberry just tastes weird to me). If you get a chance to taste homemade, I say try it :) (there are some recipes online about how to make yogurt w/o a maker, but I've never tried it. There are also some inexpensive makers on amazon that make 1 big batch (vs the small cups)... in retrospect I think that would have been a better choice because I inevitably put it in a bowl anyway).

Hi Sara :) I’ve had a love-hate relationship with yogurt.
